2014年“世界读书日”前夕，我校“陕西省百人计划”特聘教授（校友）陈晓钢博士，将2册英文版纺织材料学专著赠予学校图书馆。

这两本英文版纺织材料学专著分别是《Physical Properties of Textile Fibres》（4th）（William Ernest Morton, John W. S. Hearle /Published by Woodhead Publishing Limited in association with The Textile Institute）和《Specialist Yarn and Fabric Structures: Developments and Applications》（R.H.Gong /Published by Woodhead Publishing Limited in association with The Textile Institute）。所赠图书是近年出版的在国际纺织材料领域较有影响的专著，陈晓钢教授在国外购得，赠送母校图书馆，供师生研读。
